Sanderson 50's fabric

Just had to share this 1950's Sanderson fabric....

it is a large piece, so might have originally been used as a door curtain...

The problem is, do I keep it - or does it come with me to The Nostalgic Mix fair in Totnes this coming Saturday? If you click on the link you will get all the details about this great fair. As usual there will be a great mix of stall holders and something for every pocket!

Love it. I'm afraid I would find it terribly hard to part with if it were mine...

how gorgeous is that!

I'm afraid I'd have to keep it- I've just started stapling my favourite fabrics to large pieces of board and hanging them instead of pictures because I don't want to cut them and use them for furnishings, but neither do I want to just leave them in the cupboard to be petted and stroked!

Have a good fair and a good week

Hi lizzie,
Fab 50's fabric!
It would be a great curtain for a music room, wouldn't it?!
Good luck at the fair,
Niki x

Thank you for your comments. have spent all afternoon creating a "Textile room" in our spare bedroom (as one of my lads has taken the spare bed to furnish his flat!).... I now have a lovely space to stash fabric... mmmm. Could be very dangerous! Lizzie x
