well not quite, but this is the fun part where I can rummage into the sideboard and get out my favourite Alfred meakin Cactus Dinner service and Lord Nelson Rio 1950's side dishes..... along with my vintage glasses & favourite spotty jug.....
Oh yes, and the 1930's salad servers that I have had forever..... may have come from a jumble sale in the 1970s? Linen checked napkins, much nicer than paper I think.

Hi Liz,
Hope you all had a lovely time around your pretty table...Love the daisies.
(I may have to lift my boycott of Tesco just for one day...and go and buy some of those spotty knives and forks!)
Have a lovely weekend,
Niki x
Please may I come LOLirical it all looks so inviting.

Oh, another Alfred Meakin fan! My own favourites are Nice and Bill & Ben, also Carousel and Fruitseller. I don't have many opportunities to use a full set of them. Nice to see a table set with them.
Oh it looks lovely.
thank you for your kind comments, pretty vintage china is just another of my "things", and have groaning sideboard shelves to prove it.

Hi Lizzie, my kitchen is too small for one too but I have hope of a huge kitchen one day! Your table looks wonderful, how perfectly vintage!
ow, doesn't that look pretty. I love the Tesco cutlery. Beats the extortionate CK price for cutlery I bet!
Ohh your table looks lovely, hope your dinner was nice.

Loving the table cloth!x
Oooh!!! I have one cactus saucer, which I treasure, so the idea of a whole set makes me a bit weak at the knees!
You can see a photo of it in my china cupboard here-
