Today I have been gathering together some items for my stall there.... as you can see there will be an eclectic selection of pictures, cushions, shoes, bags, ribbons, textiles, buttons & some fantastic vintage millinery flowers that have just arrived from France.
Admission is free to the fair, and customers can enjoy wandering through the labyrinth of downstairs rooms where the stallholders will be displaying their goods against a backdrop of oak panelling & mullioned windows.
To discover more about the house, there is a website http://www.cullompton.org/the-walronds-trust.html
The house is in desperate need of repairs and financial help.

Hi Lucy
thanks for your comment (which appears to be lost in cyber space at the moment!).. it will no doubt appear shortly!
There are many textile fairs dotted around the country. I intend to list them on the blog once I have all the dates for 2009.
Cheers, Lizzie
You need to do one in Norfolk! In fact there are lots of you down there in the South West who should be visiting Norfolk more often! I'm feeling very left out! It was really lovely to see Niki this week! What a treat!
I accidentally discovered a Textile Fair happening in Norwich tomorrow! I'm hoping I can sneak away for a couple of hours self-indulgence! t.xx
p.s you have your comments set to be moderated - so you have to approve them for them to appear on the blog - maybe that's where they're going?! t.x
I love old buildings - what a pity it is in a desperate state. The fair sounds like a good one - don't sell too much so you can bring some of your treasures over here in a few weeks!!
I WILL be there on Wednesday Lizzie so please bring along any goodies you think I may like. Things have picked up tremendously since we last spoke, funny eh?
ah ha.. found out where the missing comments went! Thank you all for your assistance!

Have fun.
See you soon ;-))
