Textiles and Treasures

I thought that the blogging world would like a "sneak preview" Of the latest textiles and treasures that I have been gathering for the forthcoming Collectors Sale in Dreweatts in Bristol .

 This sale will include some stunning textiles as well as several private collections of costume, toys and the 2nd part of the Lenygon Collection.

Items that have been lovingly kept safe over many years. This unusual folder contains cards of images and information on Interior Design.

The sale will take place in the Apsely Road Salerooms on Tuesday November 6th. Viewing is on Saturday 3rd from 9.30 to 13.00. Monday 5th, 9.30 to 18.00 and on the morning of the sale from 9.00.

The Vintage Bazaar at Hartley Wintney

 It is almost a year since I went to Fleet in Hampshire for a school reunion. We had a fun evening and on my way home I passed a beautiful Arts and Crafts building in the town of Hartley Wintney. After some investigation Clare and I were able to secure a date to hire the building for The Vintage Bazaar.

 Time has flown by, and after months of promotion and preparation the date of the Vintage Bazaar at Hartley Wintney is suddenly next Saturday. The 22nd September!

 As I have just returned from a buying trip in France, there will be a very French flavour to the stock I will be taking to the fair.

 Here is just a small selection of the items coming with me to Hartley Wintney..... and if you click on the link here. There is a sample of some of the other stands who are exhibiting at the Vintage Bazaar.

 The hall is situated on West Green Road, RG27 8RE. Doors open at 10 am and the fair will end at 3 pm. Admission is £1. The lovely Alice from BBC Homes and Antiques magazine will the joining us for the fair and refreshments will be served by Lavinia's Tea party
