Introducing Esme......and coming to Frome Vintage Bazaar this Saturday..

On a recent trip to France I found another wonderful 1940's mannequin. Anyone who knows me or reads my blog regularly will realise that I have a bit of a "thing" for these vintage treasures..

Esme is modelling a 40's tweed jacket and a selection of 40's felt hats that will be coming with me to The Vintage Bazaar next Saturday, the 30th of April.

These lovely pale blue handmade 40's PJ's are another recent find. Esme has borrowed Flossie's spotty scarf for the photo shoot.

A stunning pair of blue shoes come in their original box, with a French description written in pencil on the lid....

This suit is a de-mob suit from the 40's, and is in amazing unworn condition with its original label.

Pair of cute vintage leather children's shoes, dating from the 1950's.

Funky 60's Sylko set of storage drawers....

A fabby vintage beach bag with shells design...

Plenty of vintage pinnies....

Georgie gets to model this pretty 20's cloche hat which has since sold since I first published this post. Other items will include a new selection of 40's dress fabric, trimmings, gorgeous vintage children's clothes from the 1940's and 50's, a pair of CC41 satin cami-knickers, French workwear dresses and shirts and much more. See you in Frome on Saturday!

What a glamorous gal she is! I love the pj's too. I'm sure you have seen it but I will ask anyway, have you seen the film Charlotte Gray? I watch it regularly just to get my fashion fix.

I think Esme may need a trip to the dental hygienist!
Looking forward to the Vintage Bazaar!

I know her teeth need attention Elaine! Just need to work out HOW to clean them.. at least she didn't need the huge make over that Flossie had!

I love the hat! Would be quite interested to know the price you're looking for and internal measurement...

Hope Ardingly was suitably sunny and successful.
See you soon!!

Esme is a find, she may like a holiday in Preston? sadly she's missed the Hull Traders Fabrics in the Harris Museum, but Horrockes exhibition is still on I think....
